Collaborative Education Conference Terms & Conditions
1. General Information
1.1 The conference is organized by Collaborative Education (“Organizer”). 1.2 Event details, including the date, time, venue, and format (in-person, virtual, or hybrid), are outlined on the event registration page and may be subject to change.
2. Registration and Payment
2.1 Registration Confirmation: Your registration will be confirmed upon full payment of the applicable fees. Confirmation emails will be sent to the email address provided during registration. 2.2 Fees: All registration fees are listed on the event website and are payable in CAD. Any applicable taxes or service fees will be indicated at checkout. 2.3 Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via credit card or bank transfer. 2.4 Deadlines: Registration and payment deadlines will be strictly enforced. Early-bird discounts and other promotional rates apply only within the designated timeframes.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1 Attendee Cancellation:

Cancellations received in writing to info@collaborativeedcuation.ca by 22 April, 2026 will be eligible for a credit towards the recorded conference, the next CE conference or to CE Online video lectures.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after 22 April, 2026 . 3.2 No-Show Policy: No refunds or credits will be provided for attendees who do not attend the event. 3.3 Organizer Cancellation or Rescheduling: In the unlikely event the conference is canceled or rescheduled, the Organizer will notify all registrants and offer the option of a full refund or credit toward a future event. 3.4 Force Majeure: The Organizer shall not be liable for any cancellation, rescheduling, or changes due to circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
4. Substitution Policy
4.1 Registrants unable to attend may transfer their registration to another person by providing written notice to the Organizer at least 8 days before the event. 4.2 Substitutions are subject to approval and must include the new attendee’s contact information.
5. Code of Conduct
5.1 All attendees are expected to behave respectfully and professionally. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. 5.2 The Organizer reserves the right to remove any attendee violating the code of conduct without refund.
6. Liability Disclaimer
6.1 The Organizer is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the event. 6.2 The Organizer is not liable for services provided by third parties, including accommodations or transportation.
7. Privacy and Data Usage
7.1 By registering, you consent to the Organizer’s collection and use of your personal information for event-related communications and marketing purposes. 7.2 Attendees agree that photographs, video, or audio recordings taken during the event may be used by the Organizer for promotional purposes.
8. Special Requirements
8.1 Attendees with dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, or other requirements must indicate these during registration. The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee all needs will be met.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 All materials shared during the conference, including presentations and recordings, are the intellectual property of their respective owners and may not be reproduced or distributed without prior consent.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
10.1 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
11. Amendments
11.1 The Organizer reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any updates will be communicated to registered attendees.
